Gleneely Girl off the mark!

Gleneely Girl, a two year-old filly by Intense Focus became our second two year-old winner of the season after getting off the mark at the third attempt at Carlisle on Sunday afternoon.

It was a long trip up to Cumbria, but it looked like a good opportunity for her to open her account and she duly done so under Chris Catlin.  Although in the rear for most of the race she stayed on gamely to get up on the line, eventually prevailing in a photo finish.

Congratulations to her owner John Shannon, who wasn't able to be there, to Pravesh who looks after her and to Sunny who led her up.

As mentioned before, Gleneely Girl was our second two year-old winner from only two individual runners proving yet again that the younger division are in fine fettle.
