Rawoof off the mark!

Rawoof, a three year old filly bought out of Ed Dunlop's yard by owner-breeders Dwayne and Wendyll Woods, collectively known as and owners of Cheveley based Brook Stud Bloodstock, made all this afternoon at Yarmouth under Chris Catlin to score in pretty decisive fashion.

She has shown promise at home on the gallops and that was converted into a success today, drawn wide she was always up with the pace before tacking over before the bend.  She increased the pace a little over four furlongs out and soon had the race favourites in trouble. She ran on under gentle riding by Chris Catlin to win by a comfortable ten lengths.

Congratulations to her owners, Dwayne and Wendyll Woods and Sarah Nash who looks after and rides her (pictured above) most days.  This was her first time racing with us after joining from Ed Dunlops and her first winner for us. Long may that strike rate continue!
