Apparatchika wins on debut!

Kirsten Rausing's homebred filly Apparatchika won on her first start for Rae after joining us from Mike De Kock's yard in October last year.

She was slowly away although travelled well throughout, and despite running with a fair bit of inexperience, which is to be expected as this was only her second start, she ran on well to win comfortably by three lengths.  She was ridden to success by former all-weather champion Luke Morris and he done well to nurture her through.

Congratulations to Charlotte who led her up (pictured) and of course to Kirsten Rausing and all her team at Lanwades stud.  Apparatchika became Archipenko's first winner of 2015 and we hope there are more to come, not least from this filly.
