Skylark Lady off the mark

Skylark Lady got off the mark in Chelmsford's first race this evening.

Stepping into handicap company for the first time, the filly was steadied towards the rear of the field under Chris Catlin and made her move two out - she stayed on resolutely to hold off a short-priced rival who was finishing best of the rest. 

Congratulations go to the filly's owner Colin Murfitt, Stephen Dodds who looks after her and Rachel who rides her most days.
