AHT Charity Race 2016

Budding jockeys are preparing to fly past the winning post of one of the most iconic racetracks in the UK to raise funds for the Newmarket based veterinary charity, the Animal Health Trust. Three Jockeys in contention for the title on 25th June are Elizabeth Evans, Hetta Stevens and Verity MacMahon.

Hetta previously worked at Chestnut Tree Stables as Rae's Assistant and Verity has ridden out for the yard on a number of occasions - so the yard already has links to two of the three announced riders.

Of course, we wish all those taking part the best of luck and importantly hope that as much money as possible is raised for this deserving cause.

It is a once in a lifetime opportunity for these enthusiastic (and brave!) riders, battling it out over one mile of the Newmarket July Course, cheered on by the crowds in the AHT Gala Day grandstand.
