It's easy to take all the good things we do at Rae Guest Racing for granted so when we were asked by the National Trainers Federation to participate in their new initiative The Lycetts Team Champion Awards it reminded us that, over the years, we have actually had a ground breaking approach to positive staff management and training.

Back in 2002, we were the first trainer’s yard of 26,000 businesses nationally to achieve Investors In People accreditation. We also got a National Training Award for the East of England in the same year.  It’s so long ago that we almost forgot what a massive achievement that was!

Completing the Nomination Form for Lycetts Team Champions has made us all realise that we do a lot right to ensure a positive and safe environment. It also helped us put our thinking caps on to see what we could do even better!

The Lycetts Team Champion Award is underpinned by the NTF’s new Industry Standard called The Winning Approach, which helps identify the best ways to engage and motivate staff. The results of the 2017 nominations will be announced in February 2018. Fingers crossed!!
