Phew! What a day. Today was the day that Derek Willis and Rae Guest's Serious Attitude faced up to her biggest test yet and she answered every question in the affirmative, winning one of the most prestigious juvenile fillies races in the calendar on just her third run in a time which was just short of the track record at Newmarket. This was truly an amazing performance and we are all very lucky to have her. She is back in her box now seemingly perfectly happy and last seen tucking into her dinner. Before the race, Rae said that he believed that she is the best two year old he had ever trained, and now he knows it. Just amazing. Well done to Derek and Rae, breeder Paddy Twomey, her main rider Emma-Jane Jenkins and lad Sam Davis. |
