This weekend Rae and Rachel travelled to Ireland to see Serious Attitude's breeder Paddy Twomey pick up the 2008 ITBA award for Two Year Old Filly of the Year. It was great to see her actually win an award after the near misses of the Cartier and ROA awards and it really was an excellent occasion. You know you are in good company when last year's winner of the same award was Zarkava, and the Aga Khan and Aidan O'Brien are also there picking up their awards. Well done again to Serious Attitude's breeder Paddy Twomey who has done amazingly well to breed such a filly at the age of only 30. |
