Everyone was delighted to see Chris Mills' homebred Midnight Fantasy (Oasis Dream - Midnight Shift) break her maiden at Ripon last night under Saleem Golam. Not only had she shown the form to do it, it was very important for her breeding future that she should win and for that of her future siblings and relatives. Although she would definitely have preferred softer ground, it was good enough for her to secure a convincing victory. Well done to Chris and Lesley, their son Robbie who went up to do the saddling, and Gopa who looks after her. |
