The ground was rattling fast at Bath last night, one of the few tracks in the country where they are unable to water as they have no watering system; and the conditions underfoot proved to the liking of Filligree, marking a fine return to form. Her principal owners Tony Hirschfeld and Denise Avery were hosting an post-Oaks dinner and no doubt this winner helped the main course down nicely. Well done the Filligree partnership and Noel Garbutt who looks after her. Noel has had an exciting week finishing just a nose second on Pretty Officer at Nottingham on Wednesday. |
