Jeninsky could so easily have been sold away last year, after suffering what seemed to be a terminal decline in form, but a good winter break at Kim Bartlett's Millfields Stables and a very patient campaign for 2009, making sure she always had her preferred softish ground, has yielded great rewards. Plenty of TLC and an abbreviated campaign has helped, as she has not run one bad race in three runs this year, including two wins. Not every owner would have been so patient so it was good to see Mike Beever rewarded with this excellent success. |
