Corton Charlemagne has done us proud this year, today taking her third career success at Folkestone under an assured ride from apprentice William Carson, who has been riding well for us all year. Having walked the track with his boss Stuart Williams, William knew that the best ground was up the stands rail and he held his nerve waiting for a gap to come to foil a late drive from the returning champion jockey Kieren Fallon who was on a three timer. Well done William, Corton Charlemagne, Ganesh who looks after her and her owners David Alexander, Cheval Court Stud, Bill Bottriell and Rae Guest. |
