Work is steadily stepping up in Newmarket with stable star Serious Attitude doing three canters up the short uphill Hamilton Hill on Saturday morning under assistant Emma-Jane Jenkins with Corton Charlemagne for company. First lot did two canters on the grass and the two year olds came up the grass gallop without incident for the first time third lot. The weather seems to have relented somewhat, thank goodness, although the cold spell has meant that they are probably a couple of weeks behind where they would normally be. |
