A frustrating few weeks for the yard as rain has definitely hampered play!  Last week we had 17 entries and not a single runner due to soft going. This week however gained momentum with a few placed horses ahead of a very nice win at Newcastle last night in the Intergas Maiden Stakes. Our little ray of sunshine LADY OF THE LAMP did it nicely, tracking the leader from the start and putting it to bed in the last furlong. Home bred by owners Mrs Sonia Rogers and Mr Anthony Rogers at their Stud in Ireland she is by Invincible Spirit out of Lady Angola. This filly has always been a beautiful mover and has now shown her promise. Congratulations to Sonia and Anthony. We hope she is the first of a few more to be sent to us from these lovely owner breeders.
